Range:  Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains
Elevation:  16,050 feet (4,892 m)
Climb Date:  December 2007

Vinson Massif is the highest mountain of Antarctica, located about 750 mi (1,200 km) from the South Pole. Vinson Massif was discovered by US Navy aircraft in 1957.

Wendy will climb Vinson in December 2007. Please come back to this site for updates on her climbs.
